Warlords of Draenor

Warlords of Draenor : Dungeons

Dungeon farming is an excellent source of acquiring BoE (Bind-on-Equip) transmog gear to sell on the auction house.

As there is a lockout of 10 instances per hour, the goal of dungeon farming is to loot as many dungeon mobs as possible within 60 minutes. Therefore, a small dungeon with high mob density that drops a lot of high value items is considered the "perfect dungeon".

Below you will find information on all the dungeons for Warlords of Draenor. Click the Location link to see a map of the dungeon entrance, including its map coordinates. If the dungeon is located inside a cave, building, or some other structure, those coordiates are given instead.

The following dungeon rating system was created to help new gold makers as a general guide:

When a dungeon is Heroic or Mythic mode only, it usually receives one star. This is because a full clear is only possible once per week per character. With this type of dungeon you would normally avoid any boss kills and only farm a specific area of the dungeon in order to avoid the weekly lockout.

This is normally a dungeon that is very large or the mob density is just too low to farm effectively. The time investment is not considered worth the value of any item drops. You would normally farm this dungeon for specific item drops or if you will only be farming a specific area of the dungeon.

A dungeon that can be cleared close to, or within the 10 instances per hour goal (player experience and dungeon familiarity may play a factor) but the overall item drop values are considered low. These dungeons are good for acquiring a lot of low valued green items for posting on the auction house.

A dungeon that can be cleared close to, or within the 10 instances per hour goal (player experience and dungeon familiarity may play a factor). Item drop values are mostly average to mid with possible occasional high value drops occuring.
